Intro
The goal of this blog is to provide a place where you can discuss the connections between the Novel 1984 and your own lives or society. George Orwell wrote this book based on things he saw during his lifetime and was afraid would come to pass. The novel was written as a warning. As you read the novel and make connections with your own life, pay attention to details that may have come from events during George Orwell's time period.
